This Privacy Statement applies to all the personal data we process and to all domains related to us. It covers the personal data of anyone who has ever had contact with us or visited our website, such as visitors, clients and business contacts. Personal data is any data that can be traced back to you as an individual, such as your name, telephone number, IP address, client number or online surfing behaviour. We process the personal data of everyone who has had contact with us, or visited our website, or both. These include visitors, clients, business contacts and our partners’ contact persons.

For example, as long as you remain our client, we will retain your data for the statutory storage period of seven years. After this period, we will retain your data for statistical purposes only and also in order to be able to address any possible complaints or legal claims. We have protection for our systems and various means of communication in order to ensure that your data does not fall into the hands of third parties. Your data is, therefore, safe with us. We also ensure that your data is only used by parties that have been authorised by us to do so. If you have any questions about our specific method(s) of protecting your data, please contact us. Right to information
We are required to explain in a clear and comprehensible manner what we do with your data and what rights/control you have in that respect. Therefore, this Privacy Statement explains in detail what kind of personal data we collect from you and how we treat your data.

Right of inspection
You may ask us at any time to allow you to inspect the data we hold that pertains to you.

Right to correction
You may ask us to correct your data if this is inaccurate or incomplete. 

Right of objection

You may object to our processing of your data if you do not agree with the way we handle your personal data. This right applies to the data we use for direct marketing. This includes, for example, the right to specify that you no longer wish to receive any e-mails from us. The same applies to personalised recommendations on our website. 

Right to data portability
If you are our client or have given permission for us to use your data, you may ask us to send you the digital data we have on you. This means you can, for example, then transfer that data to another organisation if you so wish. 

Right to restrict use
You may ask us to restrict the use of your data. This may mean, for example, that in certain cases we may only store your data but not use it. 

Right to be forgotten
You have the right to ask us to delete all of your data in our possession. We will then delete all data that can be linked to you. In some cases, we cannot or may not yet delete your data. For example, we are required to retain some data for seven years for the Dutch tax authority (Belastingdienst). 

Right to complain
You have the right to complain about the way we handle your data. If you have a complaint, we will be happy to resolve it for you. Please contact us with your complaint. You may also submit your complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA). Needless to say that we hope things to not develop to this extent, but you may in the final resort also seek legal redress.

How to submit a request or complaint
You can send your request or complaint to us at privacy@h3-netwerk.nl. We will process your request or complaint within 30 days. If you have multiple requests or complaints, or your request or complaint is complex, then they may take a longer time to process. In such cases, we will contact you within a maximum of 60 days. We are entitled to ask you to identify yourself. In that case, we will ask you to provide information to be sure that you are indeed the person to whom the personal data belongs.

  1. Which rules govern this Privacy Statement?
    Our Privacy Statement must satisfy certain conditions. These are mainly those contained in the European General Data Protection Regulation. There are also general rules under Dutch law that apply to this Privacy Statement. 
  2. What cookies do we use?

You can specify which of your data we may use. If you have given us permission to personalise your profile based on your surfing and searching behaviour, then we can adjust our website so that your use of it becomes easier and more personal. A cookie is a small text file that is installed on your hardware when you visit our website.
